Girls and makeup....analysis of the relation

Do girls use make up to be more confident about their image ? To be attractive to the opposite sex ? To steal the spotlight from the others of the same sex?

Well you can say that girls use make up for all these reasons

I myself use makeup. I used to be very shy and awkward in front of other people. It was really heard for me to even talk to someone. I was that way because of some lame childhood trauma. When I was really small I looked like a boy and my skin color was very dark. But all the girls in my class had fair skin long hair and rosy cheeks. So as a kid I was always made fun of. So it was registered in my mind that I m ugly and no one wanted to talk to me. ( **I know its kind of childish right... but I swear it affected me  a lot**)

Anyway once I started using makeup it instantly boosted my confidence. I was becoming less and less awkward in the society. So I kept on using makeup  and in my case makeup was a thing that helped me to be confident about my image. There are times when I get scorned by the others for using makeup. but I never take them into account. ( **this is me...if you cant deal with it it's your problem** )

So is wearing makeup a good thing or a bad thing? Well I 'd say it does have its ups and downs.

Well I m sure no one wants to be like this on date night or in a party. It's just that you have to know the limit and the extent of normal pretty makeup.

So is a bare face better than a face with makeup?

The girl in this picture has nice features and a pretty skin. Of course she looks good without makeup.
she would even look more breathtaking with a slight hint of lip balm and eyeliner

But for the others with problematic skin and features make up is evident. Sometimes, women wear makeup to cover something up. For example, after a night of little sleep, a woman may have dark circles under her eyes. Though these will probably disappear once she catches up on her sleep, well-applied makeup can hide them right away. It can also serve to brighten the face and camouflage blemishes, visible pores, uneven coloring, pimples, and even some scars.

A hint of foundation would do wonders on her face.

Makeup helps define and highlight our features.

(**Whenever I go out bare  faced people would tell me that I look tired and sick. My eyes look swollen if I do not wear eyeliner.** )

The #NoMakeupSelfie campaign would have us believe that we’re entering a paradigm in which both men and women celebrate the unadorned visage. Or, more likely, that we’re still living in a paradigm where hot people look hot in photos, regardless of whether they used concealer that day.

But surely all makeup users  must find the  sweet spot between #NoMakeup and #AllTheMakeup; where we look like we're trying—but not trying too hard.
